About the Journal
Iraqi Journal of Information and Communication Technology (IJICT) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal founded in 2018. IJICT is a publication that focuses on information and communication engineering. It offers researchers a forum to share their studies and enhance the evolution of understanding in Computer Networks, Communications Systems, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, 5G Networks, and Internet of Things (IoT). Our journal is dedicated to upholding high standards and thoroughness.
Our publication offers open access for all readers to freely access research articles without restrictions. IJICT is published three times a year by College of Information Engineering @ Al-Nahrain University. The journal serves as a bridge to developments in the field of information engineering, showcasing pioneering research that connects theory with practical industry applications. With our publication released three times a year, we aim to share groundbreaking findings and inventive problem-solving approaches.
IJICT publishes original research articles and review articles that add significantly to the body of knowledge concerning science and engineering. In addition, the publication releases themed editions comprising articles chosen from conferences. Every submission for publication is required to be unique, never published before, and not currently being reviewed for publication elsewhere.
All submissions intended for publication in IJICT undergo a double-blind evaluation process involving peer review assessments as well as plagiarism and similarity examinations. Only submissions in English are considered for acceptance. IJICT was originally published in 2018 with three issues per year; it had basic requirements and sources. IJICT issued four issues during 2019–2021 and started three issues per year since 2022.
